My name's Harrison, and I'm an MSc Computer Science student studying at the University of Essex. I'm currently in my final year, and am looking for a job in the industry for when I graduate. My main areas of interest include Artificial Intelligence, Neural Nets, Machine Learning, and Fintech, but I'm always open to new things!

Outside of Computer Science, I'm a lover of the outdoors, and enjoy running, hiking and camping. I also maintain a homelab, and enjoy tinkering with new technologies and software in my spare time.

What I'm currently working on

Currently, I'm spending most of my time on 'Galahad', an algorithmic trading program, which is the reincarnation of Jefferson-IE (previously mentioned here). Galahad is designed to be more flexible, and use more modern technologies, such as Docker and Cloudflare R2 Storage. More updates on this soon.

I've recently finished my third year CS degree project, which is an AI for the board game Settlers of Catan. This involved implementing different strategies for a range of AI players, and comparing which ones work the best. Conquerors of Catan

Conquerors of Catan is my third year project for my CS degree, aimed at using the MiniMax algorithm to play Settlers, along with comparing various strategies.
